INTRODUCTION
The Elden Ring Collector's Edition was $380AUD and the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Collector's Edition was $550AUD. Please note: The Base Game CE came with the base game (as expected) but the DLC CE did not come with the base game. Both the Base Game and the DLC came with their respective Original Soundtracks, in the form of a digital download. This comparison is mainly for what is obtained physically in each of these Editions.

Shadow of the Erdtree

| The DLC has a darker toner and this is reflected on the box colouring. The Art is less vibrant, but fits the tone. |

| Again, we see a darker look here, which matched the DLC tone. The smoke is a nice touch to Messmer's castle lair. |

| Melania fits the box perfectly. Except for her extremely long sword, "Hand of Melania". Which is removable if you do not wish for her to wield it anymore. |

| Messmer's weapon has a similar issue in that it's drastically longer than the room the box offers. The Spear of the Impaler is not removable like the Hand of Melania. |

Both Statues have matching feel and finish and the quality is the same for both.

I very much wished this was a map instead. But, at the
same time, that would of given away the map size and locations to
everyone so I will assume that is the reasoning behind not doing a map.
That is the end of what came in the Elden Ring Collector's Edition. I did, however, get one more thing for preordering from EB Games and that is a different Steel Case. Shown below.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I never look at Collector's Edition's and expect good value but I will admit when you put these two Collector's Edition's side by side it is clear the Shadow of the Erdtree Collector's Edition is a bit uninspired.
